摘要: Comprehensive identification of the breed characteristics is essential for effective management farm animal genetic resources. The objective this study was to estimate population size, genomic inbreeding coefficients, autozygosity derived from runs homozygosity, and diversity in Iranian native cattle using dense SNP markers. Ten samples per were collected eight breeds representing Sarabi, Kurdi, Najdi, Taleshi, Mazandarani, Pars, Kermani, Sistani breeds. Samples genotyped 777,962 SNPs Illumina BovineHD BeadChip, after quality control 450,341 kept further analyses. estimated size (Ne) relatively small all breeds, varying Ne = 13 (Sarabi) Ne = 107 (Mazandarani). Analysis homozygosity different cut-off lengths applied provide information on recent ancient occurrences each population. coefficients by varied between had higher proportion long likely reflect inbreeding, while Kermani number short homozygosity. Some such as Sistani, are exposed serious risk extinction other except have no promising situations. Higher priority should be given conservation programming Sarabi due unique composition critical status.
