摘要: To evaluate whether thallium-201 scan can reflect tumour proliferative activity in thyroid nodules. We compared the degree of 201T1 uptake with ability as assessed immunohistochmically by labelling index proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) malignant and benign The case material comprised ten 31 surgically resected nodules from a total 41 patients.201TI was performed 5 min (early scan) 2 h (delayed after intravenous injection 74 MBq of201Tl. of201TI visually divided into three grades [from (-) to (++)], its normal adjacent tissue. Immunohistochemical staining PCNA using monoclonal antibody for PC 10 on paraffin-embedded specimens. On both early delayed scans, mean an intense201T1, i.e. (++), significantly higher than that lower or negative uptake. correlation (P=0.009) (P=0.019). Our results indicate that201TI may nodules, this is especially true regard scans.
