摘要: Background Angiogenesis plays a critical role during tumor development. c-Met has recently been implicated in the angiogenesis of various tumors, leaving its colorectal cancer (CRC) unknown. In this study, we aimed to evaluate effect novel inhibitor, cabozantinib, on growth and CRC mouse model. Material methods A xenograft model was used cabozantinib vivo tumors angiogenesis. The expression angiogenesis-related factors evaluated by immunohistochemistry (IHC) Western blotting. Levels serum cytokines were detected ELISA. Results Cabozantinib effectively reduced size angiogenesis, suppressed vascular endothelial factor (VEGF) tissues, possibly via inhibition Sonic Hedgehog (SHH) pathway. Conclusions blockade inhibits modulating SHH pathway, suggesting potential strategy treatment CRC.
