摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the active intermediate formed during prothrombinase-catalyzed activation of prothrombin. The prothrombin to thrombin proceeds via cleavage two peptide bonds in molecule. These are cleaved by prothrombinase enzyme complex that is composed enzyme, factor Xa, and a cofactor, Va, assembled phospholipid surface presence calcium ions. Further studies human indicate formation meizothrombin as an consequence association with surface. absence Va causes proceed prethrombin-2 intermediate. observation binds dansylarginine-N-(3-ethyl-l,5-pentanediyl)amide (DAPA) indicates has expressed site, therefore could possibly have activity similar thrombin.
