摘要: Vimang is the brand name of formulations containing an extract Mangifera indica L., ethnopharmacologically used in Cuba for treatment some immunopathological disorders, including bronchial asthma, atopic dermatitis and other allergic diseases. However, effects on response have not been reported until now. In this study, mangiferin, a C-glucosylxanthone isolated from extract, different parameters are reported. mangiferin showed significant dose-dependent inhibition IgE production mice anaphylaxis reaction rats, histamine-induced vascular permeability histamine release induced by compound 48/80 rat mast cells, lymphocyte proliferative as evidence reduction amount B T lymphocytes able to contribute response. these experiments, ketotifen, promethazine disodium cromoglicate were reference drugs. Furthermore, we demonstrated that had effect in-vivo model inflammatory allergy mediated cells. These results constitute first report anti-allergic properties models, well suggesting natural could be successfully disorders. Mangiferin, major Vimang, contributes extract.
