Identification and mapping of lithogeochemical signatures using staged factor analysis and fractal/multifractal models

摘要: To identify geochemical signatures related to deposit-type sought, staged factor analysis (SFA), fractal and multifractal methodologies were utilized process the lithogeochemical data in Laochang district, Yunnan province, SE China. In this study, 13 elements, including W, Mo, Pb, Zn, Ag, As, Bi, Hg, Sb, Sn, Cu, Cd Mn, analyzed 825 rock samples. A centred logratio (clr) transformation was applied address closure problem of data. The results clearly demonstrate that SFA greatly assisted with not only interpretation zonation patterns genetically intrusions, but also extraction multi-element associations signature mineral sought. distribution can be characterized by parameters such as singular exponent α , well τ ″(1) Δ which are effective for depicting spatial heterogeneity Through mineralization prospectivity indices (GPMI) C-A model, illustrate element influenced fault density. integrated methods useful identifying significant anomalous generating reliable target areas further prospecting.
