摘要: Cardiotoxicity from chemotherapy is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in cancer survivors. Cardiotoxic effects include left ventricular systolic dysfunction, coronary artery disease, hypertension, bradycardia, arrhythmias, pericardial valvular radiation-induced restrictive cardiomyopathy. Noninvasive cardiac imaging has been at the forefront detecting cardiotoxicity patients receiving chemotherapeutic agents known to adversely affect structure function. Regimens for surveillance prior during administration have proposed; however, optimal screening treatment long-term survivors yet be clarified. This review focuses on most common modalities assessing dysfunction along with newer technologies, reviews suggested strategies following radiation therapy.
