摘要: Curcumin, primary component of the spice turmeric extracted from rhizomes Curcuma longa, represents major anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory substance found in turmeric, acting thought various mechanisms not completely understood. Curcumin modulates cytokines, growth factors, transcription inflammatory molecules cell signaling pathways. During restorative dentistry practice, free resin monomers 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) propagate through dentin micro-channel pulp into bloodstream affecting cellular integrity. The study highlights significance application curcumin bioactive liposomal formulations (CurLIP) to restore homeostasis dental stem cells (hDPSCs) response 3 5 mmol L-1 HEMA treatment. Cell proliferation combination with changes morphological features, proinflammatory cytokines secretion as Interleukin (IL) 6, IL8, Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1 (MCP1) Interferon-gamma (IFNγ) were assayed along nuclear factor (NF)-kB, an inducible involved activation several processes associated extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERK) posphorylated (p-) ERK pathway. Our results showed a decreased proliferation, upregulation IL6, MCP1 IFNγ presence CurLIP therapy hDPSCs provokes increase block inhibitory regulation NFkB/ERK pERK cascade. natural nanocarrier influences numerous biochemical molecular cascades causing properties treatment human cells, representing innovative endodontic formulation able improve quality care community impact.
