摘要: ERPs were recorded from four groups of children: reading disabled, attentional deficit disorder with and without hyperactivity, normal controls. Subjects pressed a button to low probability nonsense syllable (target, p= .168) ignored all other events, which included high (nontarget, .664) either (category, symbols (Block 1) or 3-letter words 2). The amplitudes several late ERP components the latency P3 component examined. overall amplitude was significantly smaller in clinical than controls, but difference between targets nontargets only two groups. Reading disabled children had Pc symbols, while controls equivalent values. N2 different scalp distribution for did not differentiate longer three showed an increase across blocks task. results are discussed within framework recent cognitive models dealing processes.
