摘要: We describe nanocluster based tunneling sensors for detecting hydrogen. Pd clusters with diameters ranging from 3.5 to 6 nm are deposited between a pair of contacts until predetermined resistance the is obtained. demonstrate that conduction through cluster film dominated by gaps. Upon exposure hydrogen, expand, reducing average size gaps and measured resistance. The sensor response as function external hydrogen pressure described, different sizes operating temperatures, simple model single physically meaningful fitting parameter.
