摘要: Spatial function is one of the cognitive functions altered in presence cerebellar lesions. We investigated contribution to acquisition spatial procedural and working memory components by means a radial maze. To establish whether lesion would cause deficit solving maze, first experiment was carried out using full-baited maze procedure different experimental groups, with or without pretraining. Non-pretrained hemicerebellectomized (HCbed) animals exhibited impaired performances all (motor, procedural) task aspects. Pre-trained HCbed performed similarly control aspects linked processing factors. distinguish from components, forced-choice paradigm used second experiment. rats continued make lot errors show severe perseverative tendencies, already observed experiment, supporting specific role acquiring new behaviours modifying them relation context. Interestingly, hindered putting acquired explorative patterns into action compelled use only abilities, pretrained group dramatic worsening performance. In conclusion, present findings demonstrate that damage induces behaviour tasks, characterized an inflexible procedures (if indeed any before lesion) impairment processes.
