摘要: A nonlinear optical loop mirror device (10) having a distributed directional asymmetry. dispersion decreasing fiber (20) is formed into by an coupler (30) which divides input pulses two component that propagate around the in opposite directions, and transmits and/or reflects returning accordance with their relative phases. The parameters of loop, such as its length, effective area, rate change dispersion, etc. are selected so may be switched or transmitted whether widths amplitudes above below predetermined threshold values.
