摘要: We have cloned a gene, pepC, encoding serine proteinase, PEPC, from Aspergillus niger by screening phage lambda genomic DNA library with gene (PRB1) Saccharomyces cerevisiae which codes for proteinase YscB. The nucleotide (nt) sequence of pepC revealed that the is composed two exons 369 nt and 1230 separated single 70-nt intron. deduced protein 533 amino acids (aa) has putative signal transport into endoplasmic reticulum. Based on extensive homology shown proteinases (SerP) subtilisin family, includes active site triad, we hypothesise made as larger precursor matured cleavage 130-140 aa its N terminus possibly removal approx. 70 C terminus.
