摘要: Background and Aim: Glycine N-methyltransferase (GNMT) is a susceptibility gene for human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We previously reported that GNMT expression diminished in HCC. Here we report our examination of patterns cholangiocarcinoma the relationship between its prognosis. Methods: analyzed tumor tissues from 33 patients (19 male) using immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures with monoclonal antibody (mAb 4–17). intensity percentages were scored on scale 0 to 6. The association survival was Kaplan–Meier method, prognostic factors evaluated multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression model. Results: High found epithelial cells normal bile ducts. Six (18.2%) had no expression. A statistically significant difference noted male female (68.4% vs 100%, P 3, death hazard ratio scores ≤ 3 3.68 (95% confidence interval = 1.17–11.59, P < 0.05). Conclusions: favorable prognosis predictor cholangiocarcinoma.
