Acceleration of wound healing in diabetic rats by layered hydrogel dressing

摘要: Abstract In this study, a novel layered hydrogel composing of alginate (AL), chitosan (CS), and poly(γ-glutamic acid) (PGA) was prepared. The resulting characterized, including the swelling ratio, water vapor transmission rate, release Ca2+ blood coagulation activity. vitro evaluation cell migration proliferation were carried out on electric cell-substrate impedance sensing (ECIS). Effect hydrogels wound healing examined in type 1 diabetic rat model induced by streptozotoxin (STZ). After grafting to full-thickness wounds rats, AL–CS–PGA exhibited higher rate than conventional AL hydrogels. Epithelialization collagen deposition histologically. Hydroxyproline levels also assessed skin. results indicated treated showed increased regeneration epithelialization. Therefore can improve models comparing dressing.
