摘要: Most pulmonary rehabilitation (PR) programs do not currently incorporate IMT in their PR for COPD patients. The aim of the present study was to assess influence adding patients already involved a program. Thirty-four with significant were recruited study. All participated general exercise reconditioning (GER) program 12 weeks. then randomized receive or sham IMT, addition GER next 6 months. Following three months training there increase 6-min walk test (6MWT) (from mean+/-SEM 254+/-38 322+/-42 m, p<0.01), and small but non-significant decreases perception dyspnea (POD), St. George Respiratory Questionnaire score (SGRQ). PI(max) GER+IMT group 66+/-4.7 78+/-4.5 cm H(2)O, p<0.01). This accompanied by improvement POD further SGRQ score. provides additional benefits undergoing is worthwhile even who have undergone
