摘要: A study was carried out to determine the physico-chemical properties of sago starch from palm grown in mineral soil at different growth stages. Four stages palm, namely, Plawei (P), Bubul (B), Angau Muda (AM) and Tua (AT) were studied. Sago granules observed by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) while x-ray diffraction patterns examined crystallinity. The highest content found stage (94.2%) (97.9%), respectively. amylose varied between 29.4 31.2% for each swelling power earliest (P) late which are 13.3 g/g 13.2 g/g, Granule size distributions similar as grows later stages, where mean diameter starches AM. Variation starch, proximate derived insignificant.
