摘要: RASSF family proteins are tumor suppressors that frequently downregulated during the development of human cancer. The best-characterized member is RASSF1A, which by promoter methylation in 40-90% primary tumors. We now identify and characterize a novel family, RASSF6. Like other members, RASSF6 possesses Ras Association domain binds activated Ras. Exogenous expression promoted apoptosis, synergized with K-Ras to induce cell death inhibited survival specific lines. Suppression enhanced tumorigenic phenotype lung line. Furthermore, often shares some similar overall properties as proteins. However, there significant differences biological activity between members including discrete tissue profile, killing specificity impact on signaling pathways. Moreover, may play role dictating degree inflammatory response respiratory syncytial virus. Thus, demonstrates effector suppressor but exhibits unique distinct from those members.
