摘要: Cytoplasmic dynein has long been thought to be responsible for retrograde axonal transport. As the number of cellular roles this multifunctional protein expanded, complexity its contribution transport increased. In article increasing evidence a role cytoplasmic in anterograde as well is discussed. The current status complex cargo-binding mechanism evaluated. Finally, recent genetic supporting and revealing neurodegenerative conditions reviewed.
