摘要: Abstract This paper considers energy policy in Australia the context of its considerable resources, climate change and a recent government. It examines possible paths that future use could take, including published projections based largely on “business as usual” approach dramatic shift towards more efficient renewable technologies. also various factors affecting direction, security, advocacy for establishing nuclear electricity generation other parts fuel-cycle, responses to change, carbon sequestration. concludes while Australian Government is currently reluctant move away from dependence coal, unlikely adopt generation, low-emissions without waiting deployment capture storage resorting power within reach. However, face strong pressure interest groups associated with intensive industry, making necessary innovations will require further growth community concern about development greater understanding feasibility employing low carbon-emissions options.
