摘要: The inhibitor of NF-κB (IκB) family proteins is believed to regulate activity by cytoplasmic sequestration. We show that in cells depleted IκBα, IκBβ and IκBe proteins, a small fraction p65 binds DNA leads constitutive activation target genes, even without stimulation, whereas most the remains cytoplasmic. These results indicate although could be dispensable for retention NF-κB, they are essential preventing NF-κB-dependent gene expression basal state. also absence other cellular renders pathway unresponsive activation.
