摘要: The shape of composite peak 5 in the glow curve LiF:Mg,Ti (TLD-100) following (90)Sr/(90)Y beta irradiation, previously demonstrated to be dependent on cooling rate used 400°C pre-irradiation anneal, is shown ionisation density both naturally cooled and slow-cooled samples. Following heavy-charged particle high-ionisation (HID) temperature decreases by ∼5°C becomes broader. This behaviour attributed an increase relative intensity 5a (a low-temperature satellite 5). estimated using a computerised deconvolution code based first-order kinetics. analysis uses kinetic parameters for peaks 4 determined from ancillary measurements resulting nearly 'single-glow peak' curves peaks. In samples, owing increased compared with precision measurement 5a/5 ratio found ∼15% (1 SD) ∼25% samples systematically gradually through variety radiation fields minimum value 0.13±0.02 low-ionisation irradiations maximum ∼0.8 20 MeV Cu I ion HID irradiations.
