摘要: Background: Schistosomiasis is one of the most devastating tropical diseases in world. Oncomelania hupensis only intermediate host Schistosoma japonicum, and its growth development are sensitive to environmental factors. The Three Gorges Dam has substantially altered water level Yangtze River. This study focused on impact flooding time occurrence snails Hunan Province, China. Methods: data regarding were collected from Atlas People’s Republic Air temperature, hours daylight relative humidity 1995 2002 China Meteorological Data Sharing Service System. for rainfall days inundated with flood control information system hydrological stations Province. A generalized additive model was used estimate these factors presence or absence snails. Results: number areas ranged 56 212 days. However, 82 percent without less than 60 lowest air temperature a year ranges −2.88 °C −2.10 °C, range −2.34 Annual 989 1565 mm, 1230 mm 1647 results showed that water, year, annual rainfall, daily greater 0.1 significantly affect Conclusions: may be key factor determining geographical distribution Province favorable survival about 2 7 months.
