摘要: Abstract Objectives : The study was designed to test the whitening efficacy of a new prefabricated tray based system. Methods A parallel, examiner blind, stratified two group clinical carried out in Department Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Leeds Dental Institute, United Kingdom. Forty-nine male female subjects aged 18–70 years participated they underwent both digital evaluation at baseline, 3, 7 14 days, respectively. non-intervention control given no treatment received system (Colgate Visible White PF Mint, Colgate Palmolive Company, NY, USA) that uses 6% hydrogen peroxide gel applied twice daily for 30 min. Digital images teeth were captured using Jai 3CCD camera under an annular LED illumination array (SCHOTT North America, Inc., data obtained used calculate colour parameters ( L * , b ) whiteness index WIO. Results Clinical showed significant difference from mean its values baseline each visit p Conclusion In present statistically tooth evident after 3 days with improved continued usage over days. It also supports our previous results WIO is appropriate assessing changes whiteness.
