摘要: Various tests have been undertaken to study the effects of annealing, testing temperatures and volume fraction Cu cladding on properties Cu-Nb conductors being developed for pulsed magnet applications. The results demonstrate that short time annealing used insulation had no significant effect tensile property conductors. cryogenic are beneficial both conductivity mechanical conductors, especially strength cladding. wire-drawing fabrications showed wires 4 mm/spl times/6 mm cross-section-area with a could be obtained, leading final strengths up 1100 MPa at room temperature. is increased by about 20% 77 K. K-conductivity 4.5 times temperature one. strengthening mechanisms resistivity variation composite discussed it argued distance between Nb ribbons plays an important role in these properties.
