摘要: Abstract We review insert development for the US-NHMFL 100 T non-destructive short-pulse magnet program. Coil electro-mechanics are presented in context of selected materials: CuNb conductor, PBO zylon-fibre, and MP35N, a cobalt-based super-alloy, reinforcement. present results conductor cyclic fatigue testing explore data's ramifications. coil geometry, new “poly-layer” assembly technique. structure our small test program to evaluate engineering materials design.
