摘要: In the past decade, significant progresses have taken place in field of cancer immunotherapeutics, which are being developed for most human cancers. New such as Ipilimumab (anti-CTLA-4), been approved clinical treatment; cell-based immunotherapies adoptive cell transfer (ACT) either passed final stage studies (i.e., sipuleucel-T) treatment selected neoplastic malignancies or reached phase II/III trials. Immunotherapetics has become a sophisticated field. Multimodal therapeutic regimens comprising several functional modules (up to 5 case ACT) provide focused responses with improved efficacy and reduced side-effects. However, major challenge remains: lack effective clinically-applicable immune assessment methods. Due complexity antitumor within patients, it is difficult comprehensive mechanism. To address this challenge, new technologies directly profile cellular functions heterogeneity. With goal measure proteomics single cells, these informative, sensitive, high-throughput highly-multiplex. They used uncover knowledge be utilized rapid, longitudinal monitoring response anti-cancer treatment. addition, computational tools required integrate high dimensional data sets generated from comprehensive, single-cell level measurements patient’s guide accurate definitive diagnostic decision. These function will likely contribute understanding therapy mechanism, pre-treatment stratification patients ongoing assessment.
