摘要: The influence was examined of ultra-long-distance running (1000 km race lasting 20 days) on changes in serum lipids. 110 participants received two types diet, a conventional Western diet and wholesome vegetarian diet. Of the 55 finishers concentration total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein (LDL)-cholesterol, apolipoprotein B triglycerides decreased significantly during first 8 days run, but rose again towards end without reaching pre-race levels. high (HDL)-cholesterol increased initially final run. values for A-I were not correlated with HDL-cholesterol. free fatty acids glycerol showed marked increases (five times prerace concentration), falling Changes lipids no correlation body mass. Similar observed both dietary groups.
