摘要: This article describes the information currently available in National Nutrition Monitoring System that is relevant to assessing vitamin D status of US population groups, strengths and limitations this information, selected results nutritional assessments. The Health Examination Survey (NHANES) provides on intakes only from 1988 1994. NHANES collected supplement use circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin [25(OH)D] concentrations through current surveys. Nutrient Database for Standard Reference started providing limited data content foods 2002 continues update these values. Food Label Package 2006-2007 label fortification marketed foods. Despite controversies about appropriate criteria evaluating among we can make some useful comparisons life-stage groups. In general, males have higher 25(OH)D than do females. Children tend adults. increasing multivitamin-mineral dietary supplements younger older adults not associated with a corresponding increase serum concentrations. leaner individuals heavier individuals.
