摘要: During the Early Pleistocene, hominins dispersed from Africa to Eurasia via Levant. The presence of African taxa in higher latitudes has been interpreted as indicative an savanna habitat Pleistocene Levant and support for hypothesis that spread grasslands into promoted dispersal Eurasia. To infer paleoenvironment during a multivariate analysis based on abundance presence-absence data mesoherbivores was used. Results indicate situated Mediterranean woodland habitat. novel environments may be explained using long distance model suggests spatial temporal pattern is consistent with early stages not habitats latitudes. ecological success attested by their widespread geographic distribution adaptation they have pre-adapted variable environments.
