摘要: Because of ongoing resistance in Florida's legislature to interventions involving exchanges sterile syringes for contaminated ones, Miami/Dade County's population injection drug users (IDUs) reduce risk HIV and hepatitis C infection by buying illegal syringes, participating syringe exchanges, or decontaminating their paraphernalia. Although it is completely legal, wherewithal decontamination paraphernalia, including sodium hypochlorite (laundry bleach), water, cotton filtering drugs, only appears sporadically Miami/Dade's locales (called “get-off” houses).
