摘要: Abstract We evaluated 12 skeletally immature patients with acute, intrasubstance tears of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and open physes for meniscal pathology. Arthrograms were completed in 10 patients, subsequent arthroscopy confirmed 8 (4 medial, 4 lateral) 6 patients. Four repairable menisci underwent arthroscopic repair stabilization. Eight received quadriceps hamstrings rehabilitation returned to sports a brace. After return sports, all braced developed instability multiple episodes "giving way". Average time from initial injury first episode was 7 months. Seven sustained further damage an average 15 months (range 7–27 months) after injury. conclude that pathology is commonly associated ACL we recommend arthrography or evaluate suspected tears.
