摘要: Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is an epithelial malignancy involving many anatomical sites and the most common cancer capable of metastatic spread. Development early diagnosis methods novel therapeutics are important for prevention mortality reduction. In this effort, numerous molecular alterations have been described in SCCs. SCCs share phenotypic characteristics, but they not extensively compared. This article reviews SCC as a disease, including: epidemiology, pathology, risk factors, prognostic markers, targeted therapy, new approach to studying Through comparison, several themes apparent. For example, HPV infection factor among four major (NMSC, HNSC, ESCC, NSCLC) abnormalities cell-cycle regulation signal transduction predominate. These data reveal that insights, drug targets discovered individual may shed light on type whole.
