摘要: Formulas are obtained for estimating the rate, at any time after pumping begins, and total volume, end of a period continuous pumping, parts well yield that derived from storage, induced leakage, infiltration river and/or natural flow would have discharged into if had not been pumping. It is assumed cuts completely through sand flows in fairly straight course which extends considerable distance on both sides location. Two cases considered: stream cutting across along flow. The formulas applicable provided tangent tilt sloping bed does exceed 0.02, drawdown 50 per cent initial depth saturation, water levels underlying artesian aquifer remain unchanged, hydraulic conductivity water-table high relative to semipervious layer, saturation site influenced by well.
