摘要: Abstract A review is presented of the behaviour static friction between metal surfaces under dynamic loading. It found that coefficient usually represented as a function stationary contact time, although it has been suggested rate tangential loading may be an important factor in process. Much available experimental data cannot separate effects time and thus little use establishing fundamental behaviour. Experiments aimed at clarifying this aspect problem are described. The results show high rates independent suggest force application controlling situations which previously considered to relevant parameter.
