摘要: This study examines the impacts of climate change on future mortality in Netherlands and related economic costs. Our methods account for changes both cold- heat-related different age classes, time dynamics associated with temperature-related mortality, demographic urban heat island effect. Results show that cold vary considerably between older people being more vulnerable to temperature extremes. The sensitivity is higher hot (4.6%/°C) than (2.1%/°C) days most group (≥ 80 years), extreme temperatures have long lags especially cold. A main finding expected first decrease total net due a dominant effect less cold-related but this reverses over under high warming scenarios, unless additional adaptation measures are taken. valuation these indicates will result benefits up €2.3 billion using Value Statistical Life Year €14.5 approaches 2050, while costs scenarios can reach €17.6 2085. Implementing policies reduce negative turn into by achieving continued dominating reduced
