摘要: In the past decade, an estimated 274,000 children and adolescents have come to United States as refugees. Their exposure health-related risk protective factors varies by nationality, socioeconomic status, time period. This chapter will focus on refugee groups who arrived in prior from arrival transition ongoing primary care. After arriving States, growth nutrition, communicable conditions, vaccine catchup, potentially toxic exposures, entry into specialty care are of healthcare. Over time, psychosocial needs chronic disease management, including development dental health, may predominate. Lastly, structure initial visits, cultural considerations, effective triadic communication, collaboration with community services, is formative experience for both their families. The intent this review core information guidelines, bearing mind that children’s specific health needs, experiences heterogeneous.
