摘要: The elimination of intravenously injected hyaluronan (HA) from the blood was investigated in 12 healthy volunteers. Three consecutive 30 min infusions HA were given, separated by 90 washout periods. Blood samples taken before, during and after each infusion plasma concentration determined. deposition modelled according to a Michaelis-Menten kinetic model which included natural synthesis HA. Km Vmax estimated 0.34 +/- 0.13 microgram ml-1 3.48 0.97 min-1 kg-1 b.w., respectively. endogenous input calculated be 24 11 micrograms found correlate age subjects (P < 0.05). As baseline 0.031 0.21 ml-1, rate linear normal range. Vd about 75% higher than weight-estimated volume. total amount excreted kidneys study period 394 77 micrograms, corresponded approximately 1.7% into circulation experiment.
