摘要: Diamond exhibits several special properties, for example good biocompatibility and a large electrochemical potential window, that make it particularly suitable biofunctionalization biosensing. Here we show proteins can be attached covalently to nanocrystalline diamond thin films. Moreover, that, although the biomolecules are immobilized at surface, they still fully functional active. Hydrogen-terminated films were modified by using photochemical process generate surface layer of amino groups, which attached. We used green fluorescent protein reveal successful coupling directly. After functionalization electrodes with enzyme catalase, direct electron transfer between enzyme's redox centre electrode was detected. found sensitive hydrogen peroxide. Because its dual role as substrate an electrode, is very promising candidate future biosensor applications.
