Long Noncoding RNA ROR Regulates Proliferation, Invasion, and Stemness of Gastric Cancer Stem Cell

摘要: Gastric cancer remains an incurable malignance and the second leading cause of death globally. Recent progress in gastric research has demonstrated crucial roles stem cells (CSCs) development, metastasis, drug resistance this disease. Various studies have highlighted role long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) pathogenesis cancer. In study, through fluorescence-activated cell sorting, we isolated CSCs (GCSCs) from MKN-45 for first time that lncRNA ROR was highly expressed CD133+ GCSCs. Overexpression significantly increased, but knockdown inhibited proliferation invasion Most importantly, led to upregulation several key stemness transcriptional factors, such as OCT4, SOX2, NANOG, well CD133 GCSC. Our data associated with core factors pluripotent state These results further improved our understanding functional cross talking network during development GCSCs may provide novel target diagnostics therapeutics
