摘要: The reduction of molybdenum dioxide in the temperature range 450–550°C leads to a finely divided powder which can readily be converted nitride (γ-Mo2N) or used as catalyst for synthesis ammonia at temperatures between 300 and 500°C. Little chemisorption nitrogen occurs on pure also shows negligible activity except under conditions such that occur. A constant specific formation is found all catalysts after exposure gas few hours each reaction temperature. This independent nature bulk solid may oxide, metal combination three phases. activation energy 14 kcal/mole ancillary experiments show rate process controlled by one steps conversion adsorbed not suggested Kiperman Temkin.2 hydrogenation takes place more slowly than same sample but two processes are closely related. New data reported free 425–550°C.
