摘要: Understanding which drivers and barriers exist in the development of a circular economy (CE) is relevant timely endeavour. The aim this paper to contribute debate by analysing evidence regarding different factors helping hampering CE. Specifically, focuses on eco-innovation (EI) pathway towards CE, tries coordinate available but fragmented findings how “transformative innovation” can foster transition while removing obstacles sustainability. Drawing upon new corpus both academic non-academic literature, work offers framework for analysis, as well an evidence-based survey challenges, green structural change economy. We argue that combination innovation systems' view with more recent “transformation turn” studies may provide appropriate perspective understanding Ultimately, aims capitalise these insights design policy guidelines organisational strategies.
