摘要: Abstract Mercury is a toxic and corrosive element, understanding its partitioning within ecosystems industrial processes of vital importance. The solubility mercury in normal alkanes, aromatics, water alcohols predicted using widely used Soave-Redlich-Kwong equation state combination with group contribution method to estimate binary interaction parameters. parameters between elemental seven other molecular groups were determined this work by fitting available data for mercury. the studied solvents was accurately described. This allows prediction thermodynamic behavior wide variety solvents, solvent mixtures, operating conditions where experimental are unavailable.
