摘要: The hemp plant (Cannabis sativa L.) has a long tradition of being used for many different purposes such as industry, medicine and nutrition. In particular, because seed (HS) is rich in oil protein considerable amounts dietary fiber, vitamins minerals that are particularly suitable also animal Different studies have evaluated HS on qualitative quantitative properties livestock products but today, nobody investigated the molecular pathway behind supplementation farm animals. Thus, this study, we will report first RNA sequencing whole-blood transcriptome ewes fed either with controlled diet (CTR, n = 5) or supplemented 5% (HSG, n = 5). Applying false discovery rate (FDR) <0.05 log2FC higher than 0.5 lower −0.5, identified 314 differentially regulated genes HS-supplemented group compared to CTR group. Several encoding subunits belonging complex I, II, III, IV ATP-synthase were up-regulated making oxidative phosphorylation (FDR: 3.05e-19) thermogenesis 2.17e-16) highest pathways our study. Moreover, found up-regulation involved lactose biosyntheses GALK1 PGM1 and, result, observed statistically percentage HSG (p < 0.05). These results indicate positively affects energy production lactating conferring them more resistance adverse climatic conditions low temperature. Finally, milk content makes derived dairy profitable.
