摘要: Previous studies have shown that the activation of 5-HT3 receptors in nucleus tractus solitarii (NTS) increases baseline mean arterial pressure (MAP). In present study, we evaluated possible involvement NMDA this pressor response. Four days before experiments, under tribromoethanol anesthesia, rats received two guide cannulas direction NTS, and 1 day femoral artery was cannulated for pulsatile (PAP), MAP, heart rate (HR) measurements. On 2-methyl-serotonin, a agonist, microinjected into NTS after microinjection saline or AP-5, selective receptor antagonist. Microinjection 2-methyl-serotonin (5 nmol/50 nl) vehicle (saline) produced significant increase MAP (+ 20 +/- 5 mm Hg, n = 8) while AP-5 (10 no change (-1 3 11). changes HR. The data show response to agonist is dependent on receptors.
