摘要: Abstract Background To investigate the effect of asymptomatic inflammatory prostatitis on clinical outcomes patients undergoing trans urethral resection prostate due to benign prostatic hyperplasia. Materials and methods A total 514 were enrolled in study. Clinical parameters pathological results compared before one year after surgery. Results Of 310 diagnosed with purely hyperplasia others both inflamation (cathegory IV) No statistical significance was observed between two groups among including age, volume post voiding residue (P > 0.05). Patients inflammation presented higher preoperative International Prostate Symptom Score lower Qmax values when those without prostate. Conclusion Asymptomatic can lead worsen urinary tract symptoms flow rate Furthermore, improvement complaints surgery worse inflammation. Further well designed prospective-randomised studies are needed support our findings.
