摘要: The alveolar ridge splitting technique (ARST) has been developed for close to 20 years, demonstrating effectiveness and efficiency in some cases. aim of this study was evaluate the behavior a series surgical cases using piezoelectric system. Eleven patients (ASA I ASA II) were included study. Subjects who smoked or presented previous implant treatments reconstructive surgeries treatment area excluded. took place under local anesthesia without sedation consisted straight crestal incision subsequent bone management with 4 different types inserts mounted on system, which used gradually crest, moving down approximately 10 mm. Once 3 mm expansion had achieved, implants installed controlled torque sites defects present filled lyophilized bovine bone. In technique, there fracture plate cases, although each case installed. A total 34 installed, 27 reached 35 N installation rest between N. second surgery 2 lost. It can be concluded that is predictable, low morbidity rapid completion, presenting limited intraoperative complications. ˚
