SITUATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE LYNX (LYNX LYNX L.) IN SLOVENIA FROM 1995-1999

摘要: In this paper we analyse signs of lynx presence and their distribution to evaluate the sta- tus in Slovenia. From 1995-1999, a total 499 were reported that al- lowed us distinguish between 4 different regions: (I) The southern part country comprising area south-east Ljubljana-Trst highway (Kocevska, Notranjska) where re-introduced number is still highest. (2) western with Julian Alps, have started immigrate mid 1980s. (3) Karavanke KamniSko-Savinjske Alps north country, as well some other isolated areas only very low si- gns collected. (4) fourth region comprises north-east Slovenia absent.
