摘要: Antibiotic residues in dairy products as well emergence of antimicrobial resistance foodborne pathogens have been recognized global public health concerns. The present work was aimed to study a potent antibacterial extract from natural product an alternative treatment for staphylococcal bovine mastitis. Staphylococcal isolates (n=44) were isolated milk samples freshly squeezed individual cows. All resistant ampicillin, ciprofloxacin, erythromycin, gentamicin, penicillin, except vancomycin. Rhodomyrtus tomentosa leaf ethanolic accessed its activity and anti-inflammatory potential. exhibited profound against all with MIC MBC values ranged 16-64 μg/ml 64->128 μg/ml, respectively. Moreover, the also exerted anti-protein denaturation human red blood cell membrane stabilizing activity. results support use R. that could be applied cure mastitis reduce inflammatory injury caused by bacterial infections.
