摘要: Background: There have been very few reports regarding symptomatic snapping of the iliopsoas tendon, and none those dealt exclusively with an adolescent population. We report our experience surgical treatment this entity in a group patients who had average age fifteen years. Methods: Nine (eleven hips) underwent fractional lengthening tendon at musculotendinous junction because persistent painful hip. A modified iliofemoral approach to was used. The diagnosis all cases made on basis history physical examination. Plain radiographs were for rule out osseous intra-articular loose body. Follow-up consisted personal interviews examinations performed least two years postoperatively. Results: Preoperatively, audible pain localized anterior part groin. duration symptoms 2.3 Prior onset symptoms, but one involved competitive athletic activities. Postoperatively, able return preoperative level activity without subjective weakness. postoperative follow-up four Hip-flexion strength noted be nearly equal that contralateral side. All reported they would operation again under similar circumstances. One patient recurrent stated it less frequent than snapping. Two transient sensory loss anterolateral aspect thigh. Conclusions: conclude is effective safe unresponsive conservative measures.
